Advantages of using the above system include:
- Removal of turbidity and suspended solids
- Elimination of microbial contamination
- Removal of iron and manganese up to 95%
- Elimination of odor and undesirable taste
- Very easy maintenance
- Initial cost approximately equivalent to purchasing a water meter
- Monthly cost (current) lower than water fees (due to well water usage)
- Chlorine is the only consumable material.
If we assume an average water consumption per person of 250 liters, the daily water consumption for a family of four will be 1 cubic meter.
